IN THE GARDEN OR LANDSCAPE:

  • New Planting Preparations: Spread 2.5 to 5 lbs./ 100 sq. ft. into tilled soil. Thoroughly incorporate into the top 3" of soil.
  • Transplanting: Add 1-2 tbsp. into each transplant hole. Incorporate/mix into soil and lightly water the mixture. Transplant and backfill, gently tamping down the soil mixture. Water well to settle in the transplant.
  • Established Plantings: Side-dress in a shallow trench about 2 to 4 inches deep 1⁄2 to 1 cup depending on size of the plant(s). Re-apply once a month during the growing season.

CONTAINER PLANTS:

  • New Plantings: Add 1/8 to 1/4 cup per gallon of soil. Thoroughly mix. For larger container jobs use 5 to 20 lbs. per cubic yard of soil mix. Generally speaking, the more clay or compacted the soil, the more neem product may be needed.
  • Established Plants (monthly maintenance): Lightly mix 2 to 4 tbsp. per gallon of soil during the growing season.

WOODY ORNAMENTALS:

  • For new trees, prepare transplant hole by mixing 1 to 2 cups with the backfill. Use amended soil to fill around the new tree and water well.
  • Spread 1 to 2 lbs. per 1" of trunk diameter around the base outwards to the drip line, mix into soil surface and water in well.

FOR USE AS A SOIL DRENCH:

  • Add 2 to 4 tbsp. per gallon of water and steep up to 48 hours, agitating periodically.
  • Apply solution directly to the soil around plants.
