Summit’s Clear-Water Barley Flakes pond treatment naturally keeps pond water clear without synthetic chemicals. As it slowly decays, byproducts are released that aid in maintaining water clarity. Summit’s Clear-Water Barley Flakes is harmless to fish and plants. Barley flakes may be used at any time but best results have been reported by people starting in early spring when the water temperature is low.

Each micro-mesh bag should last around 3 months but a new bag should be placed in the water at least one month before the old bag is removed. For aesthetic purposes, bags may be placed in skimmer. Micro-mesh bag keeps barley flakes application simple and mess free. Perfect for ponds with bottom drains. Works faster than barley straw bales but not as long lasting.
